Moringa, Malunggay, Horse Radish

The Moringa, is gaining popularity for its powerful ability to cure hundreds of illness.  With the help of the known botanist Lowell Fuglie, Moringa's many potential uses became known to different countries especially to the Third World Countries. Also known as Horseradish Tree (because of the taste of the roots), Drumstick Tree (because of its long, slender, triangular seed pods), Ben Oil Tree (because of the oil derived from the tree), la mu (Chinese name). It also has hundreds of names in  Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America/Carribean, North America and Oceania. Scientific names include Moringa Oleifera Lam, Moringa Nux-ben, M. Pterygosperma, and Guilandina Moringa.
